Vardan Oganesyan


My current research interest lies in symplectic geometry. During graduate school, my research focused on mathematical physics.

From 2017 to 2020, I was a Simons Instructor at the Simons Center for Geometry and Physics (New York, USA).

From 2020 to 2022, I was a CRM Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Mathematics at the Centre de Recherches Mathématiques (CRM), University of Montreal.

Currently, I am a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz.

I obtained my Ph.D. in 2017 from Moscow State University under the supervision of Oleg Mokhov.

I was born in Armenia in 1990.
